Company description
Abay Technical and Trading S.C is the largest automotive company in Ethiopia. In 2009 it has been privatized from the privatization and public enterprise. Prior to that, Abay Technical and Trading Share Company was a government-owned company established in 1994 (1986 E.C) to give technical support on vehicle maintenance, as well as supply spare parts to various governmental organizations and to the public transport sector. The company was structured with core and support departments and management systems to be led by a board of directors owned by the Ethiopian Privatization Agency before it was acquired by its new owners.
