Walia Steel Industry (WSI) is a private limited company established in 2006 at Alemgena town of the Oromia Regional State, which is 20km away from Addis Ababa. It was established with an initial capital of Birr 200,000,000 (Two Hundred Million Birr) and, in the years to follow, has increased the capital. The company was established with the objective of manufacturing & marketing of steel products. The industry is built on a total land area of 53,000 square meters.
