Job Description

BIOS Engineering & Trading PLC is looking for an experienced and motivated Data Center & Power Engineering Manager to lead our Data Center and Critical Power business unit. This role is responsible for managing engineering teams, delivering complex infrastructure projects, supporting business development initiatives, and ensuring the successful design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data center and power solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership and project management skills. They will work closely with sales, project management, vendors, and clients to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality ICT infrastructure solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the data center and power engineering team, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and performance oversight. 
  • Oversee the design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of data center infrastructure and critical power solutions. 
  • Lead technical pre-sales activities by developing solution designs, reviewing customer requirements, and providing technical consultations. 
  • Prepare and review technical proposals, Bills of Quantity (BOQ), technical specifications, and cost estimates. 
  • Lead the preparation of technical responses for RFPs, RFQs, and tenders while ensuring compliance with customer requirements. 
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from solution design through implementation, testing, handover, and post-installation support. 
  • Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. 
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with company standards, industry best practices, and applicable safety requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership in server infrastructure, rack systems, structured cabling, cooling systems, UPS, power distribution, backup power solutions, and related data center technologies. 
  • Plan and supervise preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and infrastructure expansion projects. 
  • Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology partners, vendors, and customers. 
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that strengthen the company's service offerings. 
  • Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and engineering standards. 
  • Support knowledge sharing and technical development within the engineering team.
