Job Description

The General Service Director is a senior executive role at Teklehaimanot General Hospital, responsible for overseeing the operational and administrative functions of the facility. This full-time position requires strong leadership skills to effectively manage multiple requests and ensure high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will work in an office setting in Addis Ababa, focusing on building strong working relationships across departments to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and evaluate service performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and mentor staff to promote a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Facilitate effective communication between departments and stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability for services.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe and efficient healthcare environment.
• Report regularly to executive leadership on operational performance and strategic initiatives.
