ABOUT THE ROLE

New Ethiopia Tours is seeking a creative, reliable and energetic part-time videographer, video editor and social media content creator to work closely with our team. The successful candidate will create engaging travel, culture, food, hotel and restaurant content for our digital platforms.

The role includes travelling with our team to tourist sites, restaurants, hotels and cultural destinations across Ethiopia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Travel with the team to tourist sites, restaurants, hotels and cultural destinations across Ethiopia.
Film high-quality travel, food, cultural and promotional content using company cameras and smartphones.
Develop video concepts, shotplans anda practicalcontent calendar with the team.
Edit short-form and long-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
Create Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos and behind-the-scenes content.
Add subtitles, music, transitions, graphics, basic colour correction and sound improvements.
Write clear captions, schedule posts and publish approved content on social media.
Organise footage, monitor basic engagement and suggest new content ideas.

New Ethiopia Tours provides the cameras and smartphones required for filming. The selected person must care for company equipment responsibly

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

This is a flexible part-time position. Filming, editing, posting and travel schedules will be agreed based on the content plan, upcoming tours and destination visits.
